Do You Feel Stuck?

I meet people all the time who can't seem to move off center; good people who truly want to change their circumstances for the better, but seem to be paralyzed.

My advice to you is to start with some action, however simple, rather than gargantuan or complicated. Be proactive, even if that action is simple.

When you are proactive it puts you on the offensive and, all things being equaul, gives you control over events. However, when you are inactive it puts you on the defensive and limits you to a position of weakness.

If you find yourself in debt, then you should take action. You see, inaction is a negative form of action. Inaction yields consequences by default. In other words, inaction yields consequences which you DO NOT control!

You want, you should, control your financial life. If you're waiting for everything to be "just right" before taking action, you may be falling into a fatal trap. Don't fear change. Instead embrace it as one of the most exciting aspects of life.

How exciting would it be if you could CHANGE your financial situation?

I'm here to help you make that change. I'm here to help you take the first step. The first step is to simply contact me. After the first step, I'll push you, propel you, and motivate you to take the second, third .... steps.

God Bless,

Debt Collectors -- Part II

To continue our important discussion regarding debt collectors, let me begin by saying that I am amazed -- and dismayed -- by how many lawyers and so called "professionals" fail to grasp the opportunity which exists if you understand the consumer laws. Debt collectors are ripe for defeating IF YOU understand these laws.

The debt collectors are typically the ones who "growl" the loudest and yet they are, in my experience, the easiest to defeat. One way to defeat them, and settle for pennies on the dollar, is to use the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) against them.

The FDCPA is a key federal law regulating debt collectors, including lawyers who routinely collect debts on behalf of original creditors. I LOVE this law because I can turn the tables on the debt collectors. Not only can I often settle the debt, but in some cases you can collect money against the debt collector!

Talk about "win/win"!

One component of many in the FDCPA is the "Cease & Desist" component. Specifically, 15 U.S.C. Section 1692(c), when invoked, should STOP the collector from communicating with you -- no more harrassing phone calls, for example.

And if the collector violates this provision, I can use it against them to gain leverage for my client.

I'll let you go for now. We've been fortunate to represent thousands of well satisfied clients. I hope we can help you too! I promise, we'll fight like h$ll on your behalf!

Debt Collectors Can Help You Wipe Out Debt!

You should know what is a debt collector, also known as a debt collection agency.

First know what a debt collector is not. It is not a credit card company. A credit card company is the "original creditor." Original creditors are American Express, Bank of America, Capital One, Discover, Advanta, U.S. Bank, CitiBank and other credit card companies.

The original creditors have their own collection departments. The people who work in these collection departments are employees of the original creditor. When you fall behind in your payments you will get phone calls and nasty letters from the original creditor.

However, after time passes you may start to get calls from debt collectors, also known as collection agencies. The debt collector is not the original creditor.

Debt collectors are separate companies that are hired by the original creditor to collect the debt. A collection lawyer is considered a debt collector too.

Debt collectors are supposed to follow a law called the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. But most don't.

And that's where you can actually turn the tables on the debt collector and use a few powerful strategies to wipe out your credit card debt.

I'll explain how on Tuesday, February 10. Stay tuned!

Legal Debt Forgiveness

You need to understand how this works if you are in credit card debt.

First, do not hire a "debt settlment" company to handle your case. Companies like "Credit Solutions" out of Texas and the like are taking money upfront with no guarantee of results.

That's not how I work.

I do not require any payment up front. I only get paid in the event I am successful in getting your balance down to a fractional amount.

OK, now that we've gotten that out of the way, here's how you can legally get your debt forgiven. Pretend you have a rich "Aunt Irma." And pretend you have a $100,000 in credit card debt too.

Your rich Aunt Irma says to you, "Why don't I pay off $70,000 (seventy thousand dollars) of your debt and you pay off $30,000 (thirty thousand dollars)" Good deal, right?

Well maybe. Maybe not. You see, in order to pull this off you need to come up with some money. If you come up with a percentage of the debt over a period of 6 to 12 months, then debt forgiveness may actually work for you.

Again, this is assuming you hire the right professional for the job who can actually get the debt forgiven, not some scum sucking debt management or debt settlement company. I'm seeing more and more folks getting scammed by these companies. And it seems every time I turn on the radio there is a new debt settlement company running advertisements.

THEY SMELL BLOOD IN THE WATER!

That's what happens when people are vulnerable. Other not so nice people take advantage and make things even worse.

I won't do that. I'm in this for the long run. I don't pretend to be perfect, but I won't ever let you down. Ever.

God Bless,

To Turn Your Life Around, Turn in a Different Direction

Let go.

If you're in debt then chances are you've been facing the wrong way for a long time. You need to turn in a different direction. Let go of your anger, your bitterness, your embarrassment, and your pride. Don't be afraid. You have nothing to fear.

Let go of the harmful emotions. Let go of the past.

What drives your life today is the positive energy you create now. Now is your time.

Some people doubt me when I tell them, "You can turn your life around now." I feel bad for these people. Because they've already lost.

Shakespeare said, "Our doubts are our traitors." Rid yourself of doubt, and you can rid yourself of your debt. More than that, you can truly be free of the harmful things that have kept you down for so long.

The great car maker Enzo Ferrari said, "What can be conceived, can be created." He knew, as others have known, that life is what you create in your mind, or what you destroy. Think of a life free of debt. Can you imagine? Yes, you can!

Let go of your doubt. And then I'll help you let go of your debt.

God Bless,

Worry and Credit Card Debt

There is nothing to worry about. Absolutely nothing.

Radical thought, huh?

Sure, if you choose you can spend the rest of your life worrying about your debt and it won't change a thing. You will still be in debt.

Worry is being immobilized in the present moment by events that will occur or not occur in the future. Not one minute of worry will ever change the future or make things better.

Please don't confuse worry with taking action. In fact, people who are wrapped up in worry often use worry as an excuse for not taking action. Worry is a form of self delusion or escape. It keeps you from focusing on the task at hand, on what's real, and what you can control.

Worry causes high blood pressure, hyper-tension, ulcers, headaches, etc.

So here's my advice: If you are worrying about debt, STOP worrying and START living. You CAN get free of credit card debt once and for all. Live with the mindset that it's your time -- now -- to start living and stop worrying.

Don't allow debt to steal your life. Take your life back.

NOW begin to attack the problem you've been avoiding. I'm here to help you wipe out your credit card debt. STARTING NOW! Together we can wipe out both your worry and your debt.

God Bless,

To My Son, Patryk Michael Mack

Hi Buddy:

I want to let you know that I can count on one hand the most important people in my life, and you are one of them. Patryk, you are special to me.

I love you more than you can comprehend. You know, you must know, what you mean to me and your mom. Our world would be empty without you in it.

You are 13 years old today. That’s a big deal! You are crossing the line between adulthood and childhood. You will always be my boy, but now you are also going to be a young man.

Now is the time for you to shine, to develop into your full potential. You have the opportunity to be great, to even change the world. I know you can do it!

Hard to believe you’ve grown up so fast. I knew the first day I saw you that you were my guy. That was a very good day, one of the best days of my life!

Love Always,

Your Dad

Decide Now to Wipe Out Your Debt

George Bernard Shaw expressed it in Mrs. Warren's Profession:

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them.

Brilliant!

Changing your financial situation is possible. You can do it. But it's not always easy. Mastery of your financial situation means you are the decider of your fate. You are not a coper, or a surviver, or someone who simply "adjusts" to the world.

If you want to eliminate your credit card debt or pay off your home in 5 years, you will need to recognize that you can always grow, always improve, and become the financially independent person you see when you look in the mirror.

You choose the world in which you live. The world does not choose you.

You choose to wipe out credit card debt once and for all. It is a choice. Decide now to wipe out your credit card debt. Save your home. Just do it!

Your mind is really, truly, legtimately your own mind. It's not what others think, it's only what you think. It's your life. Don't let anyone live it for you.

God Bless,

Can You Handle the Truth?

Hi Folks:

Wow, what a week! We've wiped out thousands of dollars in credit card debt without bankruptcy. We are "forcing" credit card companies to settle for as little as 15 cents on the dollar. We also had the privilege of helping our clients save their homes. We helped a few people save their business too.

I love helping people!

But this week I've also had some rather interesting conversations with people who are mired in unhealthy, delusional and ultimately destructive thoughts about their financial situation. And even though I offered a clear path to free them of debt, they weren't ready to hear the truth.

In fact, I don't think they wanted to hear the truth -- at least not yet -- instead they wanted me to tell them somthing else. But I won't do that, even if it means you won't hire me. I refuse to tell you what you want to hear. I will only tell you what you need to hear.

You see, I'm not a politician. If I was, I have no doubt I would have more clients than I do now. If I was a politician I would tell everyone what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.

Politicians as a class are generally not trusted. So are most lawyers. Why? Because they thrive on a need for approval, not a need to tell the truth. Without approval, they are out of work. The truth means little for these slimy buggers.

Most politicians (and lawyers) tell "Group A" one thing, while telling "Group B" just the opposite. I'm not perfect, but I will never do that, ever. It would be drive me nuts if my mission in life was to gain approval at the cost of honest self-assessment.

I won't do that to myself. And I won't do it to you either. I will give you straight answers to straight questions. I won't tell you what I think you want to hear.

Instead, I'll tell you what I honestly think. I trust my judgment, my experience, and my knowledge. I've helped thousands of people suffering from credit card debt and mortgage debt. Every single one of them was told the truth, not a B.S. story.

By telling you the truth, you will thank me later and respect me always.

The truth. Can you handle it? If you can, I'm here to help. I'm here to free you of your debt once and for all.

God bless you and keep you always,

Fresh Starts

The late Fulton Sheen said, "Restored friendship is sweeter than unbroken love."

Right on Fulton Sheen! How sweet it is when you start fresh again!

Now you have an opportunity to experience the joy of starting fresh. When you start fresh it's sweeter than had you never experienced the pain of debt in the first place. You appreciate even more those things lost, but now found.

People who visit my office often say to me, "I wish I could make it like it was before.... before I had these financial problems." They long for somethng lost, and hope for somthing gained. My job is to give back to you what you lost -- peace of mind, debt freedom, healthy credit.

Let's make 2009 the year you started fresh, the year you restored your peace of mind. Together we can wipe out your credit card debt. We can get control of your problem mortgage. Starting fresh, think of how that must feel!

Make no mistake, you can start fresh. But it's up to you. Give me a ring if you want a fresh start.

God Bless,

If You Do Nothing, Nothing Will Happen

Hi Folks!

Yesterday I talked about people getting scammed. Today, I'll talk about people refusing to take corrective action. They allow their credit bills to pile up or their home loan to blow up. Sadly, if these people had just picked up the phone and called, I could have really helped them before it was too late.

Why do people do nothing when they know, deep within themselves, that they need to do something or risk their health or wealth? My Grandmother died of cancer because she refused to see a doctor before it was too late.

Why?

Fear and ignorance. You fear that which you don't understand. My Grandmother feared doctors because she did not understand them. For her, this sweet lady, the unknown was scarier than dying a slow death.

People visit my office deep in credit card debt or behind in their morgage and they are terrified. Many of them have known about me for months or years, but have refused to see me despite their financial issues.

Why?

Fear and ignorance. My job is to take away your fear by showing you real solutions to your problems. Solutions you probably overlooked. I'm a teacher. I'm a problem solver. I'm a counselor.

If you can get up the courage to pick up the phone and call, you're going to feel a lot better. I won't let you down.

God Bless,

Are You Willing to be Scammed?

Hi Folks!

Some people are their own worst enemy, but God love 'em anyway.

See, I just go an email from some poor guy in New Mexico who wanted to give me his opinion on something which I thought, at first reading, was a supposed to be a joke..... but this dude was serious! I couldn't stop laughing at this stuff he received from some "asset protection" company in Florida.... it was priceless.... and it was also sad!

Look, we live in amazing times. We live in desperate times. I guess that's why so many folks buy into stuff that is preposterous on its face.

Here are my reasons why people get scammed:

Desperation

There is no more fragile a mind than one that is in desperation. A lot of people and I mean a lot of people do some of the stupidest things when they are desperate. Desperation due to financial situations can be the most depressing and can cause great harm in other areas of your life too such as in your relationships with your spouse.

Ignorance

Do some research and apply some common sense. Look for tell tale signs of scams. Is there a licensed attorney who can answer your questions? Is there a better business bureau rating? Does the business continue to call you trying to get you to buy? Does the service ask for substantial money up front? Does the company make promises too good to be true? Are these people real experts featured on national newspapers and media?

Bad Habits

People who get scammed often have developed a queer habit of actually liking what scammers and schemers put on the table for you. You just like to be dazzled by the figures and the lights surrounding the images that they give you when you commit to them whole heartedly. I am not sure whether you have heard of the idea that human beings are creatures of habit and that we just love doing the same things over and over again even if it doesn’t make sense to follow that habit and course of action.

Some people are like sea monkeys that have light shone on them. You know those sea monkeys right? They are those crustaceans that live in the ocean and when given water and salt, actually spring to life. These are marine creatures. Try shining light on them and they will start swimming in circles and will continue to do so until the light ends.

Don’t be a sea monkey people. Start thinking right and get out of that bad habit!

Wrong Social Influence/No Guidance

Many victims of scams just don’t have the right mentors to help them figure things out. I feel badly for these folks because they are searching, but no one is there for them to show them the way, or at least the right way.

Each client of mine needs my guidance, my support, my knowledge, my experience. I won’t tell a client what they want to hear, I’ll tell them what they need to hear.

My "medicine" is not always the sweetest, but I can guarantee you it's not a scam, and my solutions are proven to work. Just ask my clients. They are real.

God Bless,

Imagination is More Important than Knowledge

Hi Folks!
All children enter the Kingdom of Heaven when using their imagination. There is no limited space or time. All is bliss. All is real.
We can learn from children. Use the power of your imagination. The ability to imagine can get us through difficult times and even solve the problems we previously believed could not be solved.
Albert Einstein said: "Imagination is more important than knowledge." He was right.
The power of imagination is the ultimate problem solver. One dramatic example of the power of imagination is that of Air Force Colonel George Hall. He was a POW locked in the dark box of a North Vietnamese prison for seven grueling years. Every day Hall played a full game of golf in his imagination. Now get this.... One week after Hall was released from his POW camp he entered the Greater New Orleans Open and shot a 76!
Another astonishing account is that of Vera Fryling, M.D. A Jewish teenager on the run from the Gestapo, she lived undercover in Berlin during the Holocaust. During this time she imagined that she was a doctor, a psychiatrist in a free land. Overcoming the Nazis, Soviet army and a bout with cancer, Fryling ended up on the faculty of the San Francisco Medical School. "Imagination," she says, "can help one transcend the insults life has dealt us."
Imagination is simply the ability to form a mental image of something. If Hall and Fryling could imagine themselves free of agonizing conditions like they were experiencing, don't you think you can imagine yourself free of money troubles?
Imagine how your life would change if your debt was wiped out. How would it affect your relationship with others? Would you have more time? Imagine how you would sleep at night with no more bills. Imagine how you would feel about yourself now that your money troubles were finally over? How would it feel to finally be in control of your financial situation instead of your money troubles controlling you?
All is bliss. All is real. Imagine. I can help you make it come true.
God Bless,

Can You Actually Turn Your Credit Card Debt into Wealth?

Hi Folks!

I've been getting a lot of people asking me about this guy on the radio named John Cummuta, who says you can "transform" your debt into wealth. Wow! That's quite a claim!

Cummuta, who is not a lawyer (but my sources revealed he was part of a failed multi level marketing scheme in the '90s where a top guy went to jail), pitches a system he claims will show you how to perform this miraculous transformation.

Of course, you have to pay about $40 dollars for his system, and then he trys to get you to upgrade into other products. He uses the first sale as a hook to "upsell" you into a higher priced item.

Anyway, can you actually turn debt into wealth? Sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?

Actually, what Mr. Cummuta teaches is nothing new. It's good information too, but you don't have to pay him or anyone else for it. In a nutshell, his system tells you to pay off the highest interest credit cards first after doing some careful budgeting. When you pay the first card off, take the money you were using to pay off the first card and start paying off the next highest card, and then the next, and so on, and so forth.

Good advice.

Again, you don't need to pay John Cummuta or anyone else for this information. The fact of the matter is you should follow basic, time tested, proven strategies to create wealth.

But often times budgeting is not enough. In today's day and age, where people are sinking fast, the Cummuta system is not the answer. You have to take immediate and extreme action if you have a house in foreclosure or you are up to your eyeballs in credit card debt.

That's it for now, will return here soon, God willing.

God Bless!

Credit Card Debt Wiped Out -- But It's Up to You!

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!
2009 can be your best year ever. Trust me. It can.
You are not 100% responsible for what happens to you. Your financial problems may not be your fault. But whether they are your fault or not, you are 100% responsible for what you do next.
You can take steps now to solve the problem that exists. It's up to you.
See, right now you have an opportunity to do something very few people will ever experience -- peace of mind. Even though you are deep in debt or suffering from damaged credit, you have an opportunity to change all that.
And I will help you change just like I've helped thousands of people become debt free over the last decade. I will motivate you, I will take you by the hand, and if I must, I will also push you a little to get you compltely free of debt once and for all.
I won't blame you for how you got into debt. The past is the past. But if you do nothing to solve the problem, then you are to blame. It's your decision.
I'm ready to show you how to clean up the "mess". But you need to call me. So what's it going to be? It's your move!
God Bless You!
Mike "The Credit Man"
